Welcome to Mrs. Moons' Website!
This is my 3rd year at Lake Creek, and I am very excited to be your teacher. I LOVE art, and you will see that in my teaching style. I am an abstract artist, and I have been exhibiting my paintings for 16 years in local galleries. I recently had my first museum exhibition at the Pearl Fincher Museum, which feels AWESOME to say- that was a huge goal of mine!
I graduated from The Art Institute of Houston and started my creative career as a designer for an architecture firm. I started teaching in 2007. Eight of those years I taught elementary art, and for the last five years I have taught adults, teens, and kids privately through my art studio, and through galleries. I even have my own kiln in my art studio and have loved teaching ceramics to kids for years!
