My name is Gabrielle Whitlock. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University.
I have a Social Studies Composite Bachelors Degree, a minor in Geography, and a minor in Speech Communication.
I am the recipient of the Claus Nobel Educator of Distinction Award and three other Educator of Distinction awards.
This is my 18th year teaching.
I spent six years teaching at Carl Wunsche Career Academy in Spring, Texas. I was the team leader for US History and team leader for World Geography as well as an AP US History teacher.
I am a sixth generation TEXAN and very proud to be able to teach our children about our heritage!
Working in MISD has been a life long dream. I am very excited to be starting my seventh year here teaching US History.
I am the National Honor Society Advisor, UIL Social Studies and Current Issues and Events team sponsor!
My goal is to inspire my students to be life long voters, learners and thinkers!
