Some of our Lake Creek FFA students showed their animals at the State Fair of Texas; with much success!
Poultry showmen in the Cockerel division:
Madison Lofton place 5th, Brooklyn Carr place 18th, and Logan Carr place 20th.
Pullet division:
Brooklyn Carr placed 11th.
Top 15 in each division made the premium auction getting to sell their chickens!
Steers:
Shelby Winn place 1st in her class and reserve overall American breed. She got to sell her steer in the premium auction.
Morgan Winn placed 3rd in her class getting to also sell.
Grayson Fritcher got 5th in his class.
Kaylee Hill got 2nd place in her class also getting to sell her steer!
Making the sale at any major show is a huge success, because they are showing against 30-60 other animals just in their weight class. The size of these shows are huge!
